Mikael Chavez was diagnosed with heart arrythmia which only means that his heart could beat above or below the normal heart beat of a person. The doctor said that he can still live normally but he just needs to be extra careful since he could be prone to cardiact arrest. She met Aika at the hospital's rooftop where they both made a wish that is a total opposite. Aika wished to die yet Mikael wished to live longer. After that encounter, they met again. Aika hired him as her tutor due to her desperation to be on top of the class as her mother wants her to be. She made it and her perfectionist Mom became so much proud with her. But she eventually fall for Mikael. After their tutorial sessions, Mikael became distant with Aika. He ignored her while Aika tried to reach him out. Mikael was afraid that his little feelings for Aika will trigger his condition but he can't deny the fact that he is already falling for her. Aika dared him to fall in love with her for the first time in his entire life and they will take it slowly but surely. From then on, Mikael's condition did not bother him for a while.

That was before Aika's Mom became histerical after finding out about their relationship and seperated them because they differ in financial status in life.
