Mary is a 19 year old College student. When her mother passes away at her senior year of highschool, she moves across the country to live at her uncle John and aunt Anita's house. But she has to pay for her own school tuition by getting herself a job, so she can affort to go to College. It also means she has to stop playing soccer. Her favorit sport, which she has played through all her time in highschool. The sorrow of her mother’s death and the sudden move from her hometime, makes her destance herself from people and she ends up gaining a lot of weight, that soon makes her a target of bulling - especially the male soccerteam, where she works as the coach's assistant. But when she become friends with Stephanie -who also turns out to be the sister of the soccerteam's captain, who is also her her biggest bully. Everything soon starts to change; she starts to feel happy again, and slowly starts to take care of herself again and the sudden changes doesn’t seem to go unnoticed..
