I was an Omega. Moreover, I was a loner. People hated me because I was different. Wolves hated me because I was weak.
My parents hated me because I was small.
My sister hated me because I was smart.
My mate hated me because I wasn't who he wanted.
My Pack hated me because I couldn't protect them.
So I left. Simple as that. When the great Tenebris came looking for recruits to the Night Hunters, I left with him without a goodbye.
I damn near died training to be the best of the best. And when the final test came, I passed. My team and I became renowned hunters. Everyone wanted to meet Team Eight. When we pulled up to a Pack in the dead of night, every light on every window burned bright.
Until the lights went out on the Woodlands Pack. No one knew why or how or where they went. My commander gave us the assignment. Now I'm going back to the place I vowed never to return.
