After coming onto a strange town she had a strange sense that this is where she should be. It was small and she hoped that whoever killed her parents wouldn't look for her here.
After checking into the old worn down hotel she heard music coming not that far down the road. She read the sign realizing it was bar. At least it said eighteen and up.
After opening the door she heard the karaoke to the left and three very large muscular men behind the bar watching her.
She walked all the way down to the very last booth closest to the music. There wandering eyes made her uncomfortable. Those feelings instantly went away when a man with most gorgeous green eyes put down a drink napkin. "I'm Baine, what can I get you?"
I may have noticed his eyes color at first but it quickly shifted when I saw the pain in his eyes. I wondered if he could see the same in mine?
