When Carol Thompson succumbs to the sin of greed, she calls upon the wrong Demon King, Lust. Riddled with guilt, Jonathon dedicates his life to seeking redemption as he raises their daughter alone, hoping to break the binding deal struck many years ago. Nova Thompson grew up in a loving and supportive environment, cherished by her single father. They share a close bond, and Nova strives to be a pillar of goodness, just like him. Accompanied by her imaginary friend, the horned vixen Roz, Nova is filled with hope and dreams for her future.
However, after her father's sudden death, the demoness within Nova begins to awaken, seeking vengeance against the woman who took her father and his love away from her. At the same time, greed possesses her mother through demonic manipulation, which sets their next target squarely on Nova.
If Nova dies before turning eighteen, her demonic genes will remain dormant, allowing her to gain entry into Heaven. This outcome effectively denies the Demon King, Lust, the chance to claim his hybrid demon bride and future queen of his realm.
Will Roz keep Nova safe in the absence of the Demon King, who has come to love his future queen? Will Lust gain access to a human form in time to claim the reward for a deal made eighteen years ago? What will happen when another Demon King, the King of Greed, attempts to woo Nova away from her pledged king? Where does Nova's true heart lie when so much of her existence and future has been hidden throughout her life?
