"I'm scared." She whispered.
There was no one to hear it. No one to see her as she broke into pieces over and over again. It was a new era. A world where Witches and Wizards truly existed with unnatural abilities any mundane person would desire to obtain. Faith Bevarton was one of them, though many of her kind would have said she used her powers as a way of escaping. She would have been a disgrace if they knew she had used what she knew to hide. Her life was built of misery and pain, it was no wonder why she cast that memory spell on herself. There were things not even she would want to remember. But with all magic, it leaves a nasty stain. Where her memories had once been it had left a dark imprint within her. With time it would be able to grow stronger and drown her with sudden depression and anxiety. She can feel the void she created, she knows something awful happened, but can't recall what had caused her to cast against herself.
She seeks help from a man named Charlie Anderson, something she never thought possible. Men haven't exactly given her a good reason to trust so easily. Every man she has ever faced left her broken or pained by touch or what they had done. But the darkness was swallowing her whole, she had no option left but to go to a man she'd heard of in her travels. The nightmares wake her, but she can never remember what had frightened her to the point of panic attacks. A darkness was spreading throughout her and it would be her unraveling. She never meant to trust him, let alone fall in love with him in the end.

"Okay, when do we leave?"
"Oh, dear! Not so quickly. Rest a bit and relax." She tapped my hand gently. "I'll make us another cup of tea and we can talk of nonsense. We can set out tomorrow, but I'm afraid I only can take you to him. After you have met him, I must leave. I want to be home before dark."
