" Why did you help me?" Erin asked Nick angrily as he walks away from the room after laying Marcia on the bed. Nick looked at her with an emotion which she couldn't decipher but it was hate for sure.
" Because you are my mate!" He answered slowly as if he himself was unsure.
" I am not your mate! You rejected me! remember" She yelled at the top of her lungs. Nick who was still fuming over her care towards the other vampire Henry ,moved in a split second and had her pinned to the wall.
" I didn't want to reject you ! but I have no option. I can't let you die!" With that, he vanished from there leaving Erin confused.
