Over Shloka's next few lives he tries to understand his power of rebirth. He joins religious orders and secret societies like the Phoenix Club dedicated to studying chronoborns. Shloka befriends another chronoborn named Veer who becomes obsessed with building a quantum mirror to explain the nature of time and the universe.
