She was my employee .A woman, and I had just kissed her.
The memory of her lips on mine burned deeper than the diamond ring now resting on my finger. A ring given to me by a man I was supposed to love.
A man my family adored . A future that was safe , predictable and acceptable.
I had never questioned who I was yet one touch from her shattered everything I thought I knew about myself.
Everything seemed forbidden…..and reckless and yet it was the most alive I had ever felt.
I was lost in the chaos of my thoughts when my office door suddenly opened.
