Ever since she turned 18 Maya's dreams have been haunted by his strong presence which scares her but intrigues her at the same time. She wants to know who he is but she is also on a quest to find out who her real family is and why did they abandon her. Maya has to decide whether she will continue to look for her family with her dear friend Lucas or try to find the mysterious man instead.

When I finally open my eyes, I see Lucas close to me, shaking me by my shoulders. Mira is standing beside him with tears in her eyes.
