I'm a shifter, but not like the others you read about. I am a feline shifter. we are rare, as the canine variety is more common. we do share somethings with our wolf brothers and sisters. the moon goddess blesses all of her children.
at sixteen we have our first shift. Cats are solitary unless you are a lion. then you live in a pride.

My senses were in overdrive. Everything was heightened and that could only.mean one thing. My mate was near, they were somewhere on the other side of this park. I kept smelling sandalwood and vanilla.
The males of my kind don't usually have sweet scents, but maybe the goddess decided that my mate would be a woman. Sandalwood is not……
