Cora always believed she was an ordinary girl. Not until the night she overheard her “parents” whispering to a stranger—her name, her birthday, and one chilling sentence: “We can’t hide her anymore.” Something instinctive told her to run. She didn’t know why. Her wolf hadn’t awakened yet. She didn’t even know she had one. She only knew she had to escape. But the moment she fled into the dark, hunters were sent after her.
Hunters were sent after her, tracking her with a precision that made no sense. Cora didn’t know why they wanted her—only that she couldn’t let them catch her. Exhausted and alone, she fled into the woods and stumbled upon an isolated house hidden by thick trees and strange lights.
