"You spend most of your time just working, Alpha" Ivan tells me and I just give him a look that silently asks him to shut up.
"I am not going to shut up this time. It's been like what? Just months! You don't have to go down into deeper darkness because of that. Get up and get moving!" he says again and now, I am slowly starting to get irritated.
I need my daily dose of silence and he is spoiling it. I am just a minute away from yelling at him and if he still talks back, I am much more ready to dethrone him as the Beta.
But one mindlink. Just one mindlink saves him from that and saves me from the turmoil. It is from the pack doctor and she says ... "Alpha Asher, She woke up" . Just like that, I end the mindlink with tears in my eyes.

I open my eyes to the blinding lights. Is it morning already? It feels like I have just slept for ten minutes. I groan tossing on bed but a sound makes my heart thump and sit on bed.
I see all my family members and I also realize that the sound that woke me up was actually a balloon ……
