Shanice’s POV:
“What is going on here Warrick?” I barged inside the room in hurry to see what was happening and my heart instantly stopped when I saw Warrick with Adeline. He was shirtless in her bed, while she was all over him.
“Shanice!” Adeline get up from the bed and walked to the side, speaking very calmly like nothing had happened.
“Warrick! I am speaking to you.” I shouted again when he didn’t even lift his face up to watch me.
“Thank you Adeline!” instead of answering me, he gave her a fainted smile and reached for his shirt, staggering up on his feet and walking past me without even noticing my presence.
It broke my heart how he ignored me like I don’t even exist.

Prince Luke’s POV:
“You think your silence will annoy me?” I tried to make an eye contact with her but as always, she kept doing her work. She had her face covered again, the only feature in her face that was visible to my eyes was her eyes.
“I am talking to you,” I yelled angrily, rattling the chains my hands were tied to, “Weren’t you someone’s worker?” I wanted to hurt her feelings till she responds to me. Her dark skin was shining fresh; her healthy hair was covering her tiny waist.
If she thought she could excite me with her beauty, she was wrong, I would never fall for someone of her kind. I was a prince and she was nothing.
