Rowan became a pauper after his father disowned him. He was a medical student who was rusticated from university because he couldn’t pay his tuition fees, yet he was the son of a billionaire, the CEO of Rills Cement Company (RCC).
Rowan believed his father’s verdict, “Everyone is a bunch of hypocrites,” when everyone turned against him. He was mocked and assaulted, all because he was poor. He couldn’t relate with his billionaire friends, all because of shame. Everything became worse when the only source of his joy, his wife, turned against him too, because she became a billionaire all of a sudden.
