When the hunters from the neighboring town kidnap a pup from the pack, Jane is sent to bring him back. Laden with all the money she could find, Jane goes to the Arch- Hunter of Halsar to get the pup back.
But the Arch Hunter isn’t really interested in Jane’s money in the exchange for the pup. He is interested in something else… something that might cost Jane her pack. It’s the hunter’s bargain and Jane has no option but to be a part of it by spending a night with him.
