Talia was found on the borders of the Shadow Moon pack when she was just a few months old. No one knew where she came from, why she was abandoned or even if she had a wolf. At six she was put to work for the Alpha family. They made her clean, set the table and so on until she was a little older. At ten her punishments started. If the bacon wasn't crispy enough, or too crispy, they would beat her. Her "bedroom" was the cold room in the basement where all she had to sleep on was a thin piece of cardboard that was almost too small.
At seventeen her life became a living hell. She was beaten daily for no other reason than trying to force her wolf out. Talia was deemed wolf-less, and the pack looked even more down on her after that. She was the pack slave, the cook and the Alpha's daughter's personal punching bag.
The day before her 18th birthday, there were visitors from another pack there. The Alpha needed a Luna, and his eyes were fixed on Stella, the Alpha's daughter, but when he saw how cruel they were to Talia, everything changed.
