He carried her effortlessly to the dining table and gently placed her on the chair. She almost didn’t want to let go of him and settled with giving him a chaste peck on his cheek just as he released her.

He gave her a startled look but did not say anything. Instead, he bent down and captured her lips with his, darting his tongue into her mouth. Their tongues duelled and the kiss deepened. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close.

She loved the taste of him. He was sweet and salty and so warm and delicious at the same time. She could feel the strong electrical current between them again, drawing them close and connecting them.

She wanted to sink into the kiss and not let go. Ever.

Finally, they pulled apart, both of them panting with desire.

“You better eat something now and we need to continue our discussion first,” he said wryly as she protested at him breaking the kiss and moving away.
