READING AGE 18+
Jovelyn Ramirez, an orphan since 12 is a college student who works part times in her free times just to support her studies and financial needs. Student and a tutor at day, and a waitress and bartender at night. She works as long as her body can take it, if not, she would have to push herself to her body's limits, just to meet her financial needs. What can she do? She doesn't have anyone to rely on. Friends? None. She doesn't have time to socialize. Relatives? As far as she can remember, her so called relatives are nowhere to be found since her parents died.No one supported her ever since, fortunately, her parents save money in the past years that saved her life after their death. She was too young back then. But the money her parents left was only enough to support her for only 4 years. When she spent the last bit of that money, she was only 16. She tried and begged for a job in every store she can get into. But to no avail, there was none. She's still a minor, no one wants to accept her, she's still underage. The only last resort she could put her hope into was the bar.The manager almost rejected her because of her age, but oout of pity, he accepted her, as a waitress. She works and learned bartending, so she became a bartender and a waitress that gives her more salary than she should have. But the salary is still barely enough, especially that college entrance examination is coming. It would be harder but she have to presist. She needs to graduate with a degree. To achieve her parent's wish for her when they were still alive.Though, their lives are in a very complicated situation during those times, they still hoped for her normal and happy life. All these years, she lives a dull hard life. She's living in a city where lights are on and still lightens the street during midnight, streets are still bustling late at night, but work and home is the only place she had ever been to in the past years.Until he came. The man who walks inside the bar, emanating an auro she couldn't resist. A man who she doesn't know whether as someone who would give her light in her darkness, giving color to a dull plain life, or a demise. A demise that would ruin her more.
