The Wolf and the Frost King

At the edge of the wilderness, winter is long and hard. But Isabella does not mind the cold. She spends her winters with her family, huddled by the fire listening to her mothers tales. Her favorite story is of the Frost King and the spirits of the forest.
One harsh winter Isabella’s mother dies. Leaving Isabella and her 4 siblings. Her father tries to raise his family, but even with the help of their maid, he fears his daughter needs a woman to guide her.
Her father goes to the capital to find a wife to bring home with him. Isabella’s step mother is a city woman and from a royal blood. Isabella’s wild ways do not mesh with her new mother.
When a new stranger comes to her father’s lands, evil strikes the lands. Crops die, misfortunes haunts the village, and the evil of the forest does not stay in the forest.
As fear creeps into the heart of every villager, Isabella must stay confident and protect her land.
