It's been seven years since the only woman Orion Slade has ever loved was killed before his eyes, taking the lives of his unborn children to the afterlife with her. Everyday of those seven years he has thought of only her, their unborn children and what might have been; while facing the daily struggle of keeping his wolf spirit, Odin, from taking control of him for good.

The battle is becoming impossible for him to fight though as Odin's whispered temptations become harder to ignore...

Till one day his world is flipped upside down when he finds a young woman alone, naked and unconscious on the sands of the shore of his little island. With bright red hair and the most captivating blue green eyes he's ever seen, he finds him self drawn to her like he has only been one other time in his life... but that was impossible, he'd already had his mate and he'd watched her die.

When she wakes she has no memories of who she is, how she came to be on his island or where she came from. All she knows is that the man who found her and gave her the name Roisin, makes her feel things she finds both exciting and worrisome. Orion is troubled beyond redemption, or so he says; but she's seen the way he looks at her when he thinks she isn't looking, just as she sees the fire in his eyes when she challenges him at every turn. Can Roisin pull him from the past and show him that it is okay to move on? That it's okay to love again?

Can Orion bring him self to love again? Can Roisin compete with his past and break down his walls to help bring him peace?

And what will they do when figures from their past's come forward to put their future's in question?

A little girl, about three years old, with frizzy dark blonde hair pulled back into two puff balls on the top of her head was staring down a boy of about the same age, his big blue eye……
