Julie is a sophomore college student just trying to get her degree and get out. Her peaceful—if not boring life—is upended when her English professor starts to return her affections. Their hidden romance has Julie on cloud nine but soon strange things begin to happen around her. Men hang around corners watching her only to disappear when she glances back again, she suddenly gets the feeling she is being followed around town and if that wasn’t enough, someone is threatening to leak her illicit affair to the whole campus.

Their innocent classroom teases become a lot more serious when the men after Robert target Julie to get to him. Robert knows he should let her go but he can not. Their love story is fraught with trouble as they struggle to evade a wicked blacker and a determined mafioso with more minions than Julie can count. But Robert can not hide forever and he is forced to face his nemesis, live or die.
