Pearl has always wanted to be whisked away by her suitor; the only problem is she has never met him. Matter of fact; none of her friends have ever met their suitors. They are in the Breeding Program, a special program for vibrant young woman to become the perfect wives to the daunting Alpha Overlords. Once a year there is a coming of age ceremony for the new batch of women where they are taken one by one to meet their suitors and leave to live lavish lives. When Grace, a girl a year older than Pearl and who never received a suitor due to an accidental scar across her face, tells her that what she hopes for is a lie; Pearl doesn’t believe her. It’s only when it is Pearl’s time to meet her suitor comes she begin to have doubts, especially after staying up past curfew and seeing something she shouldn’t have.When she is finally taken to meet her suitor, it isn’t what she expected; epically since it turns out to be an auction to sell her to the highest bidder.
