Accidentally Yours: Became His Christmas Fake Fiancé
READING AGE 16+
“Where are you touching me?” Leila fluttered her eyes closed when Cesar’s hand reached up her thigh, her fingers curling as her heart hammered wildly against her chest.
“Where you're aching the most, Leila,” Cesar replied.
“I’m not Leila. I’m April,” she blurted, grasping his wrist to stop him when he pulled her closer.
His lips hovered barely an inch from hers as he whispered, “If you lie one more time, I’ll punish you with a kiss.”

Leila Astellian has spent her whole life living in her twin sister’s shadow.
April is everything Leila can never be. Under-confident, not admired, and definitely not successful. The Astellian family may have two daughters, but to the world, only one of them truly matters. Leila grew up accepting she would always come second: the quieter twin, the overlooked one, the daughter nobody expects much from.
Until one holiday season changes everything.
When April decides she wants out of an arranged engagement, she makes a reckless plan that drags Leila into the mess: Leila must take her place. It’s supposed to be temporary, just long enough to fool their family and keep appearances intact during the holidays.
But there’s one problem.
April’s supposed-to-be fiancé is Cesar Kingsley, a ruthless billionaire who has no patience for games, no tolerance for deception, and eyes sharp enough to strip lies down to the bone.
What’s worse is Cesar insists that “April” spend the entire holiday season with him, right up until Christmas, claiming he wants to understand the woman he’s about to marry. That means Leila is no longer pretending from a distance, she is forced to live the lie up close, under Cesar’s constant attention.
Leila tries to mimic April perfectly: her smile, her mannerisms, her confidence… And even her coldness. But the more time she spends with Cesar, the more she realizes he isn’t as easily fooled as April assumed.
Because Cesar doesn’t just watch her, he tests her.
He pushes her. He corners her with questions. He touches like he already knows she isn’t who she claims to be. And every time she thinks she’s safe, Cesar does something that makes her wonder if he’s playing along… Or hunting her down.
Leila is terrified of being exposed, because if Cesar discovers she isn’t April, she’ll lose everything.
Yet the scariest part isn’t his anger.
It’s the way her heart betrays her whenever he’s near. The way his attention feels dangerously personal. The way his touch doesn’t feel like it belongs to April at all… But to her.
And when Cesar finally uncovers the truth, Leila won’t just face the consequences of the lie.
She’ll face the consequences of what Cesar has begun to want.
Because what happens if he doesn’t let her go?
What happens if he decides the twin he was never meant to have is the one he intends to keep?

Leila's POV
I was still reeling, unsure how I’d even ended up in this car. Everything had blurred into a frantic haze the moment Cesar suggested we spend Christmas together. Before I could find the words to refuse, the momentum of his will had swept me away.
'April, what have you dragged me into? How do I get out of this?'<……
