When Lyra finds out about the affair, it angers Parker and he orders her to be locked in the Pack's cells with torture and starvation which makes her wolf disappear completely leaving her powerless and without a wolf.
One day, Parker orders Lyra to dress up as they were going to an evening ball and Lyra meets her second chance mate, the Alpha Prince Jasper Lowen.
Jasper is smitten by Lyra's beauty despite how weak and haggard she looks and he fights with Parker who does not want to let go.
