Smith's life has been on the hinge of a swinging pendulum of experience. Tossed to and fro, from one misery to the other. Now, all he could wish for in life is death. No one seems to understand Smith's predicaments for that reason, HE IS STILL SEARCHING.
Smith is fighting to preserve his marriage but still receives the blame when things go wrong. While, Fortune fights but to present a front, acting victim, despite being the victimizer making Smith appear as the evil one. Smith was dragged into a state of mind, wishing he never had dealings with a woman but rather preferred a man instead.

Smith's initial suffering is a reflection of Fortune and her friend Tacha, who were emotionally and intimately more attached.

This story reveals a 30-year-old man, named Smith, who started his love experience when he was 15. This caused him to experience the ups and downs of life. It begins with Maria, and then, Jennifer, who stole and ran away with a piece of his heart and unfortunately, never returned.

In between, Smith assumes and dial a phone number and a lady, whose name is Shampepe picks the call. Somehow, Smith got attached to Shampepe, who over time travelled down to see him. In the process, Smith was deflowered.

Smith's life was never the same again afterwards. Shampepe left him battered. Jennifer, his betrothed wife and first love left him, with his heart shattered.

The misfortune of Smith continues with Fortune, his wife.
