Zara Harris has a traumatic past, it's the reason she goes to see a counsellor. Throughout her sessions with Michelle she unravels her past to try to find a way to move on, but it's hard to see a future when you've been through as much as she has. It's even harder when someone is actively trying to stop that.
Zara navigates the world of online dating in an attempt to get over her ex by getting under someone else. She doesn't want love or a career right now, she just wants a friend with benefits, a simple way to earn money and an easy life after what she's been through.
Life doesn't always give you what you want, but sometimes you get what you need.
