He stopped directly in front of me.
Close enough for me to catch the clean, masculine scent of his cologne.
He lowered his head slightly, his eyes never leaving mine.

The corner of his lips curved into the faintest smile. "If you were that desperate for me to taste your saliva..."
He leaned in just enough to steal the air from my lungs.
