Many years ago the Werewolf world suffered a great loss at the hands of their own king who had to slay his mate and the Queen mother as she allowed her hybrid powers to inflict havoc and shame upon innocents. After witnessing the destruction of the Werewolf Queen and mother to their son, Prince Ares, King Augustus and other leaders of the magical realm have no choice but to terminate all hybrid beings and wipe their existence for the safety of the realm. Laws were put in place and every Hybrid baby was killed at birth. Hybrids disappeared into the dust, never to be spoken of and only becoming great tales for storytime.

Time skips to over a hundred years later. Prince Ares has not taken the throne but can see his father is becoming tired. In between boozing it up, having fun exploring other lands, and "getting to know" the female population, Ares gets a message to return back to the castle. Upon his arrival his father lets him know that with the full moon looming in over a week, he has decided to host the Mating Games for all nobles across Chastes. He needs his son's help to host the event and hopes for his son to find the future Queen.

The mating games are held annually at the highest full moon. It's a celebration held for all members of the kingdom to enjoy s****l relations and even find their fated or chosen mates. Magical kind celebrate this festivity in all parts of the realm but the leaders join together and overindulge in the lavish and over-the-top party which is what the Weres now have the honor of hosting. The games go through a few phases and events which introduce Prince Ares to a very enchanting and beautiful Eloise, who is a part of the Fae Clan. He cannot understand the burning and desperate need and attraction for her, as, without a wolf, Eloise cannot be his mate Nevertheless, the different stages of the Mating Games make their souls collide deliciously, as they embark on a journey of passion and self-discovery. Will they choose each other as the mating games reach their final event?

Ares has to fight between his brain and his heart as he watches his father become a tyrant during the games. With so much pressure Ares makes many mistakes and has to risk his relationships in order to try to control the situation. He finds himself stuck in a game of sacrifice, desperation, and turmoil as his worst fears come to life. Evil forces threaten to ruin harmony and even worse, his fated love.
