After the fourth round of experimentation, in God only knows how many days, my mind was forming its own protective barriers. Each time I came out of the hallucination, the misfit’s leader grew more interested. It quickly evaporated when I wasn’t willing to explain how I was doing it. Honestly, I wasn’t sure of the science behind it.
