Dan Warren stood on the sidewalk, staring at the traffic light with a furrowed brow. He chose to walk to the office rather than drive one of the three cars his fiancée, Lor, had bought for him. Their relationship was riddled with financial disagreements. Lor believed in spending freely while Dan preferred to save. "Why earn money, Dan?" Lor's voice echoed in his mind. He would respond by reminding her of her extravagant spending habits.
