The Secret Life of My Boss is a story about Liam Aguirre, a Director at LA Publishing Company, who had a dark past that he kept from everyone except from his bestfriend Dylan, his closest friend since Middle School. Liam was a product of a broken family. When he was 10 years old, his father had an affair and left them for his mistress. His mother introduced him to his stepdad and that was when Liam’s nightmare began. His stepdad molested him and abused his mother physically. Liam didn’t want to add burden to his mom so he didn’t tell her about the gruesome act his stepdad did to him.

Eventually, his stepdad left them but his mother didn’t stop from having affairs. She had one boyfriend after another until Liam lost track of the number of times his mom brought a man in their home. Liam bottled all his heartaches and resentments inside him which made him emotionally unstable.

Liam grew up hating love relationships and commitments. He even suffered from s****l Sadism Disorder. He dated different women all at the same time but never promised commitment to any of them. He used their bodies to satisfy his desires and enjoyed rough s*x with them. Because he was good-looking and financially generous, those women never once complained to him and they easily adjusted to his behavior, that he was able to show only in private, in the safety of his room.

Bea Roces worked at Liam’s company as a Senior Editor. She was tasked to write an article featuring Liam, being the Director of their company. Her task required her to spend more time with her boss, Liam. As they spent time together every day, they got closer and Bea fell in love with her boss. But because of Liam’s past, he was not capable of loving anyone, not even Bea.

How would Bea make Liam fall for her? Will Bea still accept Liam if she learned about his past?
