"Wolfgang Soulsong, at your service," he purred in a voice like spun silver, and swept into a graceful bow, his hazel eyes flashing amber for a moment.
Eleanor hates him, this strange, wild boy with the burning eyes of a wolf. And yet he saved her, loves her and watches over her like a guardian angel.
He locks her up in his mansion and won't let her out of his sight. She waits, patiently, until the day she will be free of him.
But at the same time, she can't seem to imagine a single day without him at her side.

Something whizzed past Eleanor’s head, making her bolt out of bed. An arrow thudded into the wall above her.
“Come out and face me, demon-wolf!” a voice bellowed from below her window.
She stepped closer to it, careful to keep low to the ground so the man wouldn’t see, or shoot at her again.
