"Ravyn! What is this!" I shouted as I walked into her room with a yellow detention slip in my hand.
"Nothing you need to worry about." She snapped at me.
"Nothing?" I asked her sternly.
"Yes! Nothing!" She snapped again as she slid off of the bed and snatched the detention slip out of my hand.
"Obviously the school doesn't think it's nothing," I said angrily at her and crossed my arms over my chest.
"The girl deserved it." She said as she rolled her eyes and shrugged while walking back to her bed as if it was nothing.
"Just because you feel she deserved it, doesn't mean you punch her in the face." I snapped at her.
"Did you really think I came here with only one other man?" I heard Juan somewhere behind me as I glanced as much to the side as I could to see who it was that had a hold of me.
Another man, taller than the last one, had a hold of me by my hair. He tugged on my hair, causing me to cry out a little in pain and forcing me to completely forget about my controlled breathing. The wheezing started to show in my breathing as it got harder to pull in the oxygen.
"I also know about your asthma, Ravyn, and if you aren't careful, I will make sure you can't get to your inhaler as it continues to restrict your breathing," Juan told me as I looked at him with rage in my eyes.
He moved the papers out of the way and started to pull out a few photos that were taken at Ingram Readymix Inc. There were pictures of Simon hanging from the tree with his head down and blood all over his chest. There were photos of blood all over the ground, probably from where Juan was sitting. Then there were several photos of the knife that Juan used to stab Simon with one of those photos being a photo of fingerprints on the knife alongside other fingerprints. The fingerprints had little markers on them in certain areas that were identical to the fingerprints on the knife.
I felt my breathing start to pick up as I looked at the pictures. I knew what I was looking at. I understood what he was trying to tell me without actually telling me. This can't be happening, no no no! This can not be happening!
"I think you already know what we are in here to talk about, don't you Ravyn?" He asked me as I kept looking over the pictures that were laid out in front of me.
"I've never killed anyone," I said softly, breaking my one rule of silence when brought in by the police.
"I want to believe you, Ravyn, really I do but the evidence. These fingerprints all over this dagger are the same fingerprints from your file." He started to explain to me.

Ravyn's POV:

I stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel from the rack. I handed Elijah one when he stepped out. I didn't have to say anything, he already knew what I needed so once he had the towel around his waist, he walked out into the bedroom and looked through his clothes.

He walked back with a t-shirt and a……
