A young witch is all set to start her new life but what happens when she accidentally crosses the gates of the kingdom from where no one comes back alive?
I gazed into his dark eyes, they held no warmth. I was not staring into the eyes of the man I fell in love with, those eyes were no longer shining with love and kindness. There was just cruelty and hatred reflecting in them with the smirk on his lips telling me he was well aware of his actions.
It was not supposed to be like this.
My heart shattered into hundreds of pieces as he held the hand of the woman and pulled her closer to him while looking into my eyes directly the whole time.
"Get out of my sight, I do not want to ruin my day by looking at you," he snarled.
My legs felt numb.
The woman smiled seductively before whispering something into his ears.
I could not watch it any longer.
I was betrayed, I was hurt, I was angry and I was not going to let the flame burning inside my heart die so easily.
This is the second part of Illusion and reality but can be read as a stand-alone story.
