A marine biologist, peaceful and focused, is documenting coral reefs alone underwater. His routine gets interrupted when a super curious cecaelia king saves him, then disappears. Days later, Elias finds a gift on his rock: coral. He leaves one back: a notebook. What starts as "thank you" turns into daily notes, secret meetings, and a love neither of them expected. But in Kael’s world, loving a human is treason. Now Elias must choose: stay safe on the surface, or dive deeper for the king who said "I’d choose you again" — even if it costs them both everything.
