Skyla Doughty is a 17-year-old that finished high school a year early. Living out in the country with her brother after losing their parents and now helps with the family business. Her brother owns several wheat fields that were owned by their parents. Caeleb War is a single 19-year-old who just got a job working for Aaron Doughty in his wheat fields. Caeleb has a past and keeps to himself to avoid any conflicts.

After we left the restaurant, Caeleb asked if I wanted to ride around and talk. I told him that was fine because I knew he was curious as to what happened with Aaron and I. We rode around in silence for a little while before Caeleb pulled over on a dirt road that led down to a lake and he turned the truck off.
