Hailstorm Story
READING AGE 16+
In the distant central continent, there is an ancient and mysterious city. Its name is buried in the dust of history, but its existence is engraved in the folds of the earth. This city is the Holy City - the heart of the Theodore Empire, which once stood at the peak of the empire. Reconstruction efforts began, and people tried their best to restore the former glory. However, fate did not seem to be kind to this land. The Second Scourge War broke out, this time a plague swept across the empire, mercilessly devouring the entire empire. The city, the family, and the people's efforts, everything seems so insignificant in the face of the plague. Soon after, the empire collapsed and the country fell apart. House Theodore, once the guardians of this land, now can only watch as the former empire disintegrates in the storm. All they control is the Holy City and some city-states near the Central Continent, like the fading colors of childhood dreams. In this era of chaos, the Zes family became the new rulers. They are not nobles, but they are the descendants of criminal masters. They control the numerous interests of the underground market. The holy city has become filled with shadows, and the competition in the underground market is like a raging fire, in stark contrast to its former glory. However, the Theodore family did not give up. In the face of adversity, they remain a solid pillar of the land, guarding the Holy City and everything around it. After the disaster, their dreams may fade, but their perseverance in faith is like an immortal flag, floating in the wind and rain.
