Ruth was one among many sisters. They were usually sold to rich and powerful men but not Ruth. She was sold to a corrupt school for magic at eleven and now at fifteen she has a lot more troubles than that. Especially when her best friend a demon/mage hybrid falls for her.

We were all here for different reasons and different circumstances.
“Either way you don’t have to be sad. A lot of the students here just accept their fate… I don’t want that to be us.” I sighed. “I’m one of the only humans here and I know there’s a lot of hybrids here. I know you’d have a better change breaking out with some other hybrid girl but I don’t want to let those thoughts get to me.”

Jezebeth shrugged. “You’re the only girl who’s been nice to me. I don’t care if we’re against the odds or anything like that… I’d rather break out with you than anyone else…”
I held her hand. “Okay then, we’re going to have a lot of work to do here.” I said and she smiled slightly and looked away.
That’s when I knew Jezebeth would be my friend forever. And maybe something more.

A way I’ve figured out how to use my abilities to help others is to hold events. I have large groups of people sign up for different times and I share everyone’s emotions with each other. It’s therapeutic because they get to feel other people's emotions and gain empathy. It also helped us feel conne……
