Also, a Nigerian man goes for further studies to the US in late seventies when the Nigerian naira was greater than the American dollar in value. He learns to lead an affluent lifestyle in America, until the naira crashes suddenly, he now had to struggle to survive. In his struggle he finds love, marries and starts his American dream with an American girl friend, but their love is cut short by a threatening liver cancer."Our America Wife" is a depiction of true love that goes beyond race, colour and nationality.
