Kian froze before claiming that Chelsea was "sick" with mate sickness and just needed time to recover.
"Six months, maybe less," he said. "You can go abroad for training. Alpha Stone's program in Zurich sent you an acceptance letter, why don't you take it? It'll look like a career move instead of a scandal. When you get back, we can pick up where we left off. No one gets hurt."
I stared at him in disbelief, then tore the letter apart right in front of him.
Calling off the wedding and declaring my independence was only the first step.
