The guy who was standing with a smirk then walked closer towards me whilst he placed the glass of red wine on the table.
"I can't believe that you will stoop to this level to gain my attention, love. Was that cheque not enough for you, huh? Too bad, I don't believe in charity and neither you are worthy of that much amount, sweetheart", he whispered in my ear whilst he tucked a loose hair strand behind my ear.
