Kristen moved to Northern Maine far away from the hustle and bustle of wall street. While she loved the money, she was tired of the busy life. Kristen moved to start a quite life raising sheep and living in a yurt. She hadn't expected that the land she moved to was inhabited by creatures who were hundreds of years old. When she met Wren and learned of his people's existence, she hadn't also expected to fall in love. At 45 years old, she was certain that her move would lead her into a life of solitude and get her labeled as a crazy sheep lady. The universe had other ideas.
