“Error; I have a surprise for you” Todd says, coming over to the corner I was chained to.
“Go away” I yelled as he grabs what little of my brown hair I have left and yanks me to ground.
“Why do you always have to talk back to your future Alpha” he seethes; kicking me in the stomach. He doesn’t stop, until everything goes black.
My name is Error Molchany; youngest son to Alpha James and Luna Rachael of the River Pack. Mum died when I was born due to complications from my birth. Dad and my older brother Todd blame me for my mother’s death. I don’t know why; I was just a baby.
My father said I was a mistake being born and called me Error. Grandma Nelly hated him for it and raised me until I was 10. She said Mum always wanted me to be called Daniel; so that is what she called me until she died in a house fire.
When Grandma died; they chained me up in a corner of the pack house and now I am the pack slave. One day; Todd said to me he had a surprise for me. When I asked him what it was; he said ‘this’ and punched me in the face. He still tries to tell me he has a surprise for me; but I don’t fall for it anymore.
Being the pack slave for the last 8 years and 4 months has been a living nightmare. I am forced to do their bidding with silver shackles around me feet because I’ve tried to run away a few times. Beta Simon asked Dad once; why he doesn’t just let me go and become a rouge. He replied because I needed to be punished for Mum’s death. He is punishing me; because I was born.

Four days later, we had followed Marcus’ scent up the steep mountain side, while the snowfall grew worse. Jesse was starting to tire, walking through the deep snow, and we stopped to regroup. Jesse collected firewood in his mouth and placed it at the entrance of a small cave before we shifted back so I could start the fire……
