After losing her mother and sister, high school senior Vienna Parker is worried she is going crazy. She sees a handsome boy floating out of her window, then receives mysterious letters asking her to meet at a nearby pond at midnight. Intrigued she investigates and lands in the middle of the kingdom, in a different time and place. She sees the same boy there and learns he is the Vampire Prince Damien. She learns that the kingdom is even more treacherous.
