Yulla spent her life honing her craft as a warrior. She started at seventeen when the new alpha allowed any member of the pack to join the training. Everything paid off when she was selected as one of the sentinels to become part of the special team formed by the alpha.
She was on a mission overseas when she was mistaken by a human police force as one of the drug kingpin’s men. She was shot in the process. As often said, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
All her life, Yulla wished that she would not meet her mate. She never had a good example. Her mother chose to die in despair when her father was murdered during the attack in the pack. She was left alone to fend for herself if not for the good heart of the new alpha.
She found her mate at an unfortunate time. Her mate was part of the human police force and the very person who shot Yulla when the shootout happened in Barcelona, Spain.
