Tara had such a thought when she found herself lost and desperate to find her sister. Then she saw him, a man forged for desire. But he isn’t just a man, and he is not there to rescue a damsel in distress.
Martin knows how to fight for what he wants, he has done it all his life. Fate hasn’t always been kind, but now it is just cruel. He has enough on his plate, Tara is a complication he is not ready to accept.

The trees closed in around her. Sounds of heavy breathing and growls filled the air and made her skin crawl. Tara could swear she could feel the hot breath on her skin as the wolves drew closer to her.
