Jane Blance has spent years studying the weirdest things nature has to offer. And she's long realized that things do exist that seem to violate the laws of biology.
So when her sister accidentally photographs a wolf transforming into a very attractive man in the Minnesota wilderness, Jane isn't exactly impressed.
A little concerned, perhaps.
Mostly, she's annoyed.
Because the man in those photographs turns out to be Oliver Tanner! A rugged firefighter with a dangerous secret, a temper, and--- a dead man following him around!
Unfortunately for Jane, she can see ghosts!
She just wishes she couldn't.
Jane has spent seven years pretending her ability to see the dead doesn't exist. She has no intention of becoming a supernatural detective or a medium. And she certainly doesn't intend to get involved with a werewolf accused of murdering his best friend.
But when Oliver is forced to keep her close for her own protection, avoiding him becomes increasingly difficult.
Especially when his wolf seems determined to claim her.
Especially when she starts falling for him.
And especially when the ghost haunting him appears to be trying very, very hard to prove that Oliver is innocent.
Now Jane has a choice:
Keep pretending the supernatural doesn't exist...
Or finally admit that the dead might be trying to tell her something.
Because someone killed Dyllan Wacco.
And whoever did it may be willing to kill again...

I had foolishly let my guard down!
Steff told me we were going hiking. This was, technically, not a lie. We were, in fact, hiking. What she failed to mention was that ”hiking" was, in this instance, a cover story for something closer to a black-ops surveillance mission! And that I was not so ……
