Branches whipped her skin as Marion ran through the trees. She was running blindly, as fast as she could away from her pursuer. Leaves and small trees crunched under the heavy footsteps behind her. Fire burned in her lungs as she ran. A deep, guttural roar erupted from behind her.
She never asked for any of this. Before she met them she didn't even know this existed. At twenty three she thought life was done surprising her.
Suddenly thrust into a secret world she is fast-tracked on a journey of self discovery and life changing decisions. Does she cling to the past she’s always been comfortable in, or deep dive into who she feels like she was always meant to be?

In one motion, Marion took her aunt's position over the wounded sprite. A bright orange energy crackled at her fingertips and began to heat her palms. She lowered the gloves of healing energy over Delphinium and words came from within her.
