Amelia Walton, daughter to Elena and Gabriel Walton, has spent her entire life making sure she did right by her parents and everyone else in her life, for the sake of her families reputation.
At the age of nineteen she was married off to Alexander Miller, the golden child and youngest son of the wealthy Miller family as a way to combine the two families. Since she had grown to love the man she had been forced to wed with and had everything she could ever want or need, she never thought of her life as bad. Until years later, at the age of forty-eight she finds her loving husband and elder sister in bed together.
Amelia storms out in a fit of sorrowful rage until she find herself on the roof of her father's large company, a place she had always thought held the most beautiful sights.
Looking out at the beautiful city she thinks over her life, realizing just how pitiful it had been she stood up at the edge of the building, smiling as the wind tickled the streaks of tears on her cheeks and blew the strands of hair off her face.
With one last breath she leaned forward and off the building, watching as the ground came closer and closer before she closed her eyes and her body hit the hard concrete, killing her instantly.
The next day however she wakes up still very much alive and well with not a wound in sight, what's even more strange is she's in her old bedroom and is now somehow seventeen again.
What will Amelia do now that she's been given the second chance to change her fate and have a better life?
